Monthly newsletters
Over the course of four years, I had the pleasure of managing the monthly newsletter for my organization alongside two other team members. With our collective efforts, we produced engaging content on a variety of topics including the organization itself, Cisco, industry news, and more.
As part of my responsibilities for the newsletter, I was in charge of writing, designing, and brainstorming new content ideas. Below, you'll find a few examples of the content we created. The left image is the newsletter's top half, while the right side is the bottom half.
Communication templates
I developed several communication templates to assist management in sharing important announcements such as events, new hires and interns, and organizational restructuring. These templates were designed to be user-friendly and easy to customize for each individual message.
Cisco Helpzone animated video
I had the opportunity to collaborate with the Data Science team on an exciting project. Together, we developed an animated video for a competition that aimed to streamline certain processes. My responsibilities included creating a visually engaging video that illustrated our innovative solution.
We worked closely together to craft the script, and I used Powtoons to generate the video animations. Additionally, I outsourced the voice-over recording to an external vendor to ensure the highest quality.
I'm proud to say that our hard work paid off, as our solution won first place in the competition and is now widely used. It was a great experience to be a part of such an innovative and successful project.
Intern recruitment animated video
I had the pleasure of collaborating with an IT intern recruiter on a project that involved producing an animated video to accompany offer letters sent out to potential candidates.
Our primary objective was to create a captivating and enjoyable video that would appeal to our target audience. To achieve this, we worked together on the script, with a focus on keeping the tone relatable and less formal. As for my role in the project, I was responsible for designing the animations and finding the ideal voice-over artist to bring our vision to life. Our ultimate goal was to produce a video that would generate excitement and engagement among potential interns about joining our team.
